News and More News!

Meet North West! This adorable baby girl is the daughter of celebrities Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. She was recently born and many were curious as to what the baby looked like. No pictures had been posted until this Friday, when her grandma Kris Jenner posted a picture on Tweeter for everyone to see. Questions as to why Kim's mom chose Tweeter rather than Facebook to share the baby's first picture are a hot topic, but the real question is, who does baby North West resemble most, mom or dad?

Are you the type of person that uses Google to answer most of your questions? If yes, then you might want to pay attention. Just last week Google reported a one to five minute outage in most Google services including search and it seems to have caused a great impact. According to GoSquared's real time tracking, pageviews around the world dropped a considerably 40% during this outage and after it, there seemed to be a spike as is shown on the graph above. This goes to show that people everywhere seem to rely on Google most often than not to answer their everyday questions.

After a cobra bit a 55-year-old Nepalese man while he was working on his rice paddy, the man chased the snake down and bit it repeatedly until it died.
About a year ago, a 55 year old man from Nepal was bitten by a Cobra and after he was treated and survived, he decided to bite back. Salmo Miya, the Nepali man, caught the snake that had previously bitten him and as an act of revenge, he bit the snake to death. This is certainly something you don't see every day and luckily he did not face any charges for killing the snake.

On August 23, 2003, Kenyan vice president, Michael Kijana Wamalwa, died in London. Fifty nine year old Wamalwa was being treated in a London hospital, where he was reported to have died of kidney failure. The news of his death shocked the African nation and saddened those who knew him, including president Mwai Kibaki.
In the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Nagano, two athletes were tested positive for marijuana. The drug was found in urine tests of two unidentified athletes and the chairman of the IOC medical commission refused to reveal their identities or sports.
