DOG TROUBLE!!
When I was younger, around seven years old, I had an incident with a golden retriever. It truly is a funny story but at the time it did not seem like it. My family and I were at a gathering at my uncle's house and it just happened that they owned a dog. All the younger kids were playing with the dog and to be fair, the dog was very friendly. Still, not once did I go close to it because I was extremely frightened.
I decided to enjoy the little get together and to ignore the dog. Soon enough had I forgotten about the dog when it was time to leave, so I went around and said goodbye to everyone. Of course that was the day when I had decided to wear mini high heels and given my age, I wasn't very good in them. I turned around to leave and out of nowhere the big golden retriever started towards me. My first thought was to get away from it. I was about to start running but there was a small brick wall in front of me, it was about a foot and a half in height. I tried to jump over it but somehow my heel managed to get stuck on it. I fell on my head and hit a clay flower pot.
I was rushed to the hospital because I had cut my forehead open and I was bleeding a lot. I got five stitches that day. Later when everything had passed, my mom told me that I had broken the flower pot. All I could do was laugh because all of that had happened only because I was afraid of a dog. The dog had been running towards me because he wanted to play and I freaked out, and as a result I now have a scar on my forehead. It isn't very noticeable but if you look hard enough, you can always see the scar on the top of my forehead close to my hairline. That will always serve as a reminder of how dogs, heels, and I make for a recipe of disaster.
